In the course of my 24 years as a therapist, I have worked in health clinics, a hospital and for the past 12 years, in private practice. As a result, I have helped people with many concerns such as depression, anxiety, life transitions and relationship problems. Because of my experience in the arts I have a sub specialty working with artists and academics.
During your session, I will ask you to say what you are thinking, no matter how trivial it may seem. This will help you to discover naturally what is really on your mind. While I will emphasize exploring your current life this will be done in the context of understanding how your past might contribute to your current problems. It is important to me to create a safe environment for you. I consider therapy a conversation, while you do most of the talking I will take part in the discussion.
