I am a psychiatrist, trained at Northwestern University, and certified in mind-body medicine by the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine. I integrate allopathic treatments, contemporary psychotherapeutic techniques and the wisdom of ancient healing traditions to assist my clients in attaining optimal health. After a comprehensive assessment, an individualized holistic treatment plan is formulated. Holistic practitioners recognize that humans are physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and social beings, and provide treatment which addresses all these facets and emphasizes collaboration between client and practitioner.

I am committed to:

  1. Practicing the principles of mindfulness, nonviolence, organicity, unity and mind-body holism
  2. Bringing my therapeutic expertise and offering a therapeutic relationship which faclitates clients in mining their inner wisdom and calling forth
  3. Working in tandem with my clients to promote the integration of their body, mind and spirit in a way congruent with the pattern of wholeness present within them
  4. Providing a safe, respectful, accepting and nurturing atmosphere in which persons can become more authentic and empowered
  5. Meeting the need for a comprehensive approach to healing that incorporates a spiritual perspective
