 Counseling is a unique relationship based on respect and acceptance. The transpersonal/holistic approach recognizes the indivisibility of mind, body and spirit, and that balance and harmony promote well-being and growth. Appropriate techniques used to support the client and guide the thrapeutic process include use of imagery, the arts, movement, and breathwork as well as "talk" therapy. This is grounded in a comprehensive theory base called psychosynthesis. Counseling empowers the client.
