 As a registered nurse and professional counselor, my hope is to assist patients to move from an "illness" or self-defeating state to a "wellness" or self-fulfilling state.Through an interactive sharing of information and education of the powerful mind-body connection, the patient is able to quickly recognize and gain knowledge regarding their specific feelings and behaviors. My approach to therapy is a blend of solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic orientation. I take pride in my genuine and compassionate manner in working with patients.
My practice is open to adolescents and adults for individual, family or couple therapy. Depending on patient needs, I am skilled in facilitating groups for a variety of issues or speaking on topics of stress reduction, career challenges, parenting of adolescents, blended families, or finding balance in one's life.
